About David Ramirez
David Ramirez is currently Senior Vice President and General Manager for the Civil Government Solutions Business Unit in L-3 STRATIS. David manages a unit that provides the full range of IT services that span from CIO level support — including IT governance, simulation and modeling, and IV&V — to application development, to end-to-end enterprise level IT support. His primary customers are the NASA, FAA, DHS, NOAA, USDA, Maryland Department of Transportation, Montgomery County Maryland, and Okaloosa County School District in Florida. He is responsible for leadership, strategic planning, service delivery, and profit and loss for the business unit.

David joined L-3 in 1996, and has served in a variety of technical and management positions from April 1996 to the present. Prior to his current role, David was the Vice President of our Geospatial Solutions Department, responsible for leading programs focused on the implementation of Enterprise Geospatial Information Systems and related Information Technology solutions for the Department of Defense; Federal Civilian; and State & Local customers.

David holds a Master of Science degree in Natural Resources Management from California State University, Humboldt. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Geography at California State University, Chico.
