I connected with GTSC while a consulting practitioner at a small business then was assumed into large corporate (via lost recompete), now in management at a small firm. I’ve found GTSC saves me so much time and wasted effort — regardless of where I am in the federal market – by bringing together the leadership of critical agencies so that I can ask questions, interact, network and save months of outreach for a simple answer.  Invaluable time-saver!

Potomac Management Solutions (PMS) is a 8(a) minority woman-owned small business.  Since joining GTSC in 2016, PMS has developed and maintained some very positive liaison connections in the Federal government and big companies that have paved the way for acquiring contracts.  For example, during the TSA Day, CBP Day and USCIS Days that were hosted by GTSC, PMS formed some relationships with the representatives in the Procurement office of these agencies and got our name and capabilities in the hands of the right person.  PMS also met representatives of a large company that later resulted in a partnering venture at CBP.  PMS also met some representative at USCIS at GTSC meetings and after some discussions and sharing of capabilities, resulted in a partnering opportunity in a TSA Precheck contract.  Again, these are just a few examples of the benefits of being a member of GTSC and attending their meetings that attract High Ranking Executives of government agencies and affords the rare opportunity for a small business to meet and have dialogue with representatives that we might not have crossed their paths.

Thanks to GTSC and continue to advocate for Small, Mid and Large companies to create contract opportunities and information that can be utilized to pursue contracts and partnerships.

GTSC is an organization that is built on concern, zeal, camaraderie and a passion to support the small, mid, large business members and the government agencies and departments that work together on GTSC Days. These small, intimate meetings give each and every member the opportunity to meet government decision makers face-to-face. No other industry organization offers such a setting. GTSC is an organization that also brings Subject Matter Experts to advise the government on many of their  critical   Mission Operations and Contract / Acquisition Programs . GTSC has become an integral organization in supporting national security through its industry and government programs. It is an organization worthy of a Presidential Award.

GTSC’s focus on “Mission” is not only helpful to GTSC members in their efforts to align contractor support to mission outcomes, it also helps the government to think through how the mission is supported by IT and other enterprise functions. A great example of this was when the USCIS provided industry insight into how the e2020 initiative was a partnership between the USCIS business functions and the Office of the CIO. This partnership was consistently on display and clarified by audience interaction throughout the entire “USCIS Day” hosted by GTSC. The intimate format of the GTSC days provides a unique opportunity for direct communication among government and industry leaders.
